If you can cook, prepare eggs and digest them in 15 minutes then you're a better man than me!Scorpion0x17 wrote:

I used to take protein shakes after training but now I go with raw eggs (usually 2 or 3, straight down the hatch Rocky-style and try not to taste it). Bare in mind that you have a 15 minute window of 'emergency recovery' after training where your muscles cry out for protein so it can rebuild muscle tissue - this is when you should take your protein drink or egg drink.
But, raw eggs??? BLEUUUURGH! Will cooked do?
I'm no nutritionist but I would have presumed that drinking the eggs 'au naturale' might be easier for the body to process for immediate assimilation and use in the body but at the same time the eggs contain the protein whether they're raw or cooked.

Nah. You only digest about a 1/3 of the eggs protein is you eat it raw. It has to be cooked. And plus you wont get rapid absporption of this type of protein anyway (about 4g per hour for food protein) whey is good for that, but it depends on the delivery system too, water > milk.Braddock wrote:

Forget rocky and any other bull (vince gironda) and cook your eggs: Poached/boiled is the way forward.
