Some people have problems paying their mortgage - the banks doesn't get the steady money flow into the system - the banks are nerveous because they can't loan eachother the money they thought they would have - the stocks are falling increasing the same problem - the bigger banks that normally would lend the smaller banks doesn't get their money thus they don't have the money they thought they would have ...
It's a snowball effect of people with panic tbh ...
