What is going on with this forum? Two threads relating to Sarah Palin have just been closed on the grounds that they were insulting and without source references. The second thread actually provided source references but apparently the insults were still there and so it too was shut. Anyway, I did a little search to see if this kind of policy was consistently applied...

An observation of Islam's population in a country.

The OP in this thread lists a load of supposed statistics that completely insult Muslims, there is no source provided and when called on it the author of the OP openly admits he has no source reference... this thread is still open.

How is the world supposed to coexist peacefully with these idiots?

This thread does provide a source reference (FOX News) but openly calls the Palestinians "idiots" (an insult last time I checked) and unashamedly asks the question "Can't we start exterminating these idiots?"... this thread is still open.

This guy pretty much said it all.

This guy doesn't make the insults himself, he just posts two vitriolic videos jam packed with the insulting and xenophobic opinions of some random member of the public... this thread is still open.

This thread exemplifies the epitome of the very reasons the Palin threads were closed. It starts with insults and name calling and provides no sources whatsoever... this thread is still open.

They Teach Hatred And Intolerance

This post provides a source but the author of the OP insults an entire religion on the policies and teachings of one sub-section of said religion... this thread is still open.

Hitler with a Head Scarf

This thread posts one source reference (a heavily biased anti-Islamic blog site) and on the back of it attempts to call for some sort of war against the Muslim population of Europe... this thread is still open.

What the hell is going on here?

Its like all those that condemed Israel, and all the US hate threads like that one Ramm put up, they're all still open. Its more or less quantity here, too many threads on the exact same subject springing up in a very short time.

I think it was adequately explained. If a thread is closed, then take up the issue with a moderator (See Rules / Terms of Service #11) ... the member instead decided to repost without discussing with a moderator AND without adjusting content the moderator warned him about, thus the second thread was closed.

I closed and removed the second thread based simply on a violation of Terms of Service #11.

And, to even IMAGINE that this forum doesn't tolerate American bashing or Pub/Dem bashing is based on intoxication rather than reality.

Edit: the original thread, I assume, was closed because it's tone was considered trolling. But, you'll have to discuss that with the moderator (I didn't close it).
