Yes I'm sure most professional ones could, I think his handwork is amazing when he goes up and down the full range of all the keys and doesn't make a mistake.

EDIT: This is not sheet music version, he has clearly learned this by ear

I'm sure I could play that and I'm nowhere close to professional. However I still think it was brilliantly played because of the phrasing and improvisation put into it - just his interpretation of the piece (because he's not following a score, he has made the piece his own).

I stopped doing exams at grade 5. I just play for fun now, but I've learnt several diploma level pieces just to prove to myself (and my teacher) that I was capable!

I'm not very good at performing in exam conditions which is one of the reasons I stopped.

we had a foreign exchange student from Taiwan last year, holy crap that kid could play like no bodies business, he had no music just memory and was playing some amazing stuff
