People whine about how everyone should be open minded, then someone makes an out-there thread and it gets ripped apart for being a stupid notion?

I can't think of when I have ever seen the people commonly mentioned actually change their minds or make a concession, yet they're applauded for...what? The ability to yell longer? To yell more eloquently?

Like who you want, it is generally founded. Just don't confuse your compromisers and your conspirators.

Props to Turquoise for being one of the most outright reasonable people on this forum, both in and out of his comfort zone. A lot of times being a leader means listening to those who know what they're talking about and incorporating their expertise into your own ideals. About bringing up obscene ideas not necessarily for their own merit, but for how the dissension can further define the best way forward.

So for many different reasons than those I defined previously in the thread, I would take Turq over robots spouting the same drivel over and over again. Too much like the politicans we have now.
