Several interesting things to note.

Each time we do an update there’s a 20 percent uptake in Team Fortress 2 sales, so that tells us pretty clearly that we’re doing the right thing.

Have you had any approaches for the company?

I get approached a couple of times a week by people saying, ‘Can we invest in you, can we buy you?’ That’s been true for several years. We’re having too much fun.

I think Valve are in a great position. They have a fantastic buisiness model that is great for customers and great for Valve, and Gabe really loves his company, and I think thats the best part of it all.

I want to know about the future of Counterstrike. A good, modern update with balanced gameplay might just be able to catapult 'eSports' into the mainstream in the west.

In a lot of game dev interviews, they use it as an opportunity to plug their games, promise features, debate criticism and all that. What I see most here is the humility to say that as much as they'd like to do, there's only a certain amount they can do and they're delivering very well on what they say.

<3 Valve. And I live on the same street as them... granted it's a really damn long street.
