The disc needs to be in for anti-piracy reasons. It only checks that you have the game in and doesnt use the disc drive from then on.kptk92 wrote:

Hard drives generally operate at a much faster speed than dvd drives, eg 5.4-10K, not sure how fast dvd drives spin, but I assume it's less.mtb0minime wrote:
