What is this and what does it do?
This script lets you enter your ping in then BF2 Console and the it calculates the best settings for good hitreg and automatically enters them in the Console.
You can also Enter commands for the Player Count,Enable Extrapolation,PB Sleep,Lock FPS,Show FPS,Show Hud and some other options in the Gui.

Punkbuster has confirmed that the use of this tool is legal and allowed.This is the reply i got from them after i sended a ticket to their support and asked them to look at my script :

  • 1. Download and Install AutoHotkey.You can get it from here : http://www.autohotkey.com/download/
  • 2. Download BF2HitRegTweaker from below.
  • 3. Done! You should now be able to run the script by doubleclicking it.Have Fun.
  • Customisable Keys
  • Save Settings
  • Auto Calculation of Best Settings
  • Set Player Count
  • Enable Extrapolation
  • Add to Ping Option
  • Multiply Extrapolation Option
  • Reset Options
  • Reset Usersettings to Default
  • Automatic Update Checking
  • Run BF2 through the script
  • Run Options (if you have renamed BF2.exe or want to set parameters)
  • Gui Tooltips with instructions and help with what everything is

Note :
* I will NOT give support for Vista related problems or fix them.I dont have Vista myself so its not really possible.(Seriously get rid of that crap OS )
* Always reset your options when a new version is posted so that it can work properly without problems.

I will not answer questions like where to put this code.How does this work etc etc.Everything is already explained good enough.
Please post any bugs/suggestions etc so i can improve it.
I will also not answer stupid questions on xfire.If you cant understand simple stuff like that thats already very well explained.Then Sorry not my problem.

AND FOR THE FLAMERS :
I did NOT steal anything from DupaUnit,everything is coded by myself except the part that calculates the settings.Thats the only thing i got from his code when he was still in 1.31.
And for those tweaks/usersettings haters and those who believe this does crap and is placebo.Please gtfo of my thread.I dont need to listen to it for the 100'th time.

on the older version its in the Tray Icon.Right Click on it and youll see it

it does it already.the extra options are just...hmm extra ..you know...you can change them if you want but theres no need to.
everything is explained on the script itself if you dont understand something.just hover over the controls etc and info should come up.or click on the i icons to show up instructions etc

ermm....no
theres no way of doing this without a hack or with modifying game files

you still need to open the console yourself and press the keys

he took my gui style.he even still uses my coding style etc..but no prob with that since ahk is open source anyway...and i will say it for once more.THE ONLY thing i took is the part that calculates the settings(and i took it from 1.31).nothing more

how didnt i make this when mine has much more stuff his script doesnt?lolz
open your eyes...my version has MANY differences to his
his code is about 17-20kb...mine is almost 40kb...thats alot more for an ahk script

No, it does exactly the same thing, but has more advanced options.

I have one problem though, the add to ping thing doesn't work for me, I change the number, but it seems the new number doesn't get saved, it jumps right back to 5. Help?

hmmm dont know.it works normally for me
and your the first one reporting this problem which means it works good for other people
