it was some issue from a few months ago, you probably just need to update PB

Sometimes the punkbuster services get disabled for some stupid reason. If you run services.msc you can set them back to automatic or manual if you know how to do that.cowami wrote:

GG today, MEC fought hard to the last.
A group of nBTBc fellows appeared on the server this evening, trying to get a screenshot of themselves hanging from a tree. Apparently it was going to be some kind of warning to hackers. Lots of bodies flying, but none found the trees.
Then a game started. After about 90 minutes, UK got promoted for reviving ShootFirst, who promptly died again. Undie led the game in team points.
In the end, we got beaten after a tough fight. Flaming had a KDR near 4 despite the fact that those guys were quite good. t0mhank5 showed up late but had a good game too. I was the proud leader of the best MEC squad.
