Lol I got here from a magazine. It was featured in an Aussie gaming mag around Nov 2006 as a good place to check your stats.

A guy I knew a few years ago played Battlefield 2 and showed me his "stats" (I had no idea what they were / meant or anything) - I liked the idea of awards so got the game. He checked his stats at BF2s ... and so did I. Then a few weeks later I joined the forum and I've been here since that.

Used this for stats a long time ago. Joined the forums when there was some good BF2 discussion and funny stuff around. Now that they're gone, I lurk around, post randomly, most often unnecessarily, and try to help in the few threads in tech that aren't news posts or help-me-build.

My cousin showed me it for stats, and i started reading the forums
Through the bf2s stats of course lol.
The same friend who introduced me to BF2 introduced me to this site. I initially only made the account to ask some stats questions. I came back a year or so later, and started posting in D&ST.
