I reckon so
For the Olympics your squad has to be all Under-23, except for 3 over that age. Hence why Brazil want Kaka and Ronaldinho.
Clubs don't have to release a player over 23 for the Olympic team, but have to let the Under-23 players go without a fuss.

No, its just that if you have an England team with all the top/most expensive players and they loose then they are all finished. At least, thats why major hairdressers never compete in these big hairdressing competitions. So i believe its the same.usmarine2 wrote:
So then the olympic soccer games will be boring eh?KILLSWITCH wrote:
It's most likely a nothing squad. As for the Olympics you'll tend to see players you've never heard of.
You'll find big name players rarely attend the Olympics. When it comes to Olympic games in football, Club > Country. Most footballers are preparing for the upcoming season and their respective clubs won't allow them to attend.
its the U23 teamusmarine2 wrote:
or whatever name you call it. Let's not play the football, futbol, and soccer word game. kthx.

Right, So I was watching Chile vs Italy in some tournament (Toulon) and was wondering if that is the same Italy team that was in Euro 2008? Or do they have different squads?
BTW, Italy won and the Chile coach was being a little bitch.
it was the Toulon tournament for the U23 teams

An american i once knew decided to tell me which teams he supports...Arsenal, Real Madrid and AC Milan
all 3 were league champions at the time

I have always had the misfortune of liking teams that...well sucked. Mainly because they are from the city I live in or grew up in. So west ham was a natural fit.
