So I was sniping on dod_jagd yesterday, and an enemy sniper came into my scope. Just as I pulled the trigger, an enemy infantry ran right in front of him. I saw the sniper hit the ground, but when I looked up at the killboard it showed that I sniped both of them. It was very . So was this a freak glitch, or do bullets in this game have the ability to penetrate right through players and keep going?
In the free weekend I did exactly that. Except the bullet went through a teammate first...

So is it only sniper rifles then, or can all guns do it?
Knowing how Source works, I'd say all the guns do it.
Well, only rifles (Kar, M1, M1903) and MGs (.30 Cal, MG42) can penetrate walls, so I would think that the same applies for players.
I've killed 3 before in the same way; 2 Snipers huddled around one window and a passing infantryman .

There is material penetration in Day of Defeat Source. It's usually very minor, doing less than 10 damage through thin walls even with the Kar98k but through people they do a lot of damage.

Same thing happened to me just now.
Got two headshots with the same round from my StG-44.

its happened 5 times with me, the kar is just ownage unscoped.
haven't played since the update though, sounds pretty good but achivements are kinda stupid for dods...it just doesn't feel right.
