- That EA/Dice Interview About the New Patch. (Patch 1.5)
It puts that in there for a bit of comical comparison. It says "Colorado ....The Good Life" While 10 feet next to it a tank is thundering down the road. We're supposed to go "lol it's a sign advertising peace and relaxation in a warzone thats so funnay". A simple juxtaposition really.M.O.A.B wrote:

Jesus Christ, I sound like One of my english essays.
Omg, Shanghai Showdown. I suppose it could fit in the USA with the Showdown part of the title, a Showdown present in the wild west. Could this battle take part in Texas?
Good thing I own Armored Fury. Maybe EF will get some lovin' too?

I'd love the map to have a lot of indoor activity, that would really kick arse.
Battlefield 2 celebrates its three year anniversary
On this day three years ago, Battlefield 2 was released and still
remains one of the most played PC FPS titles.
With over 15 million player accounts being created since release,
Battlefield 2 is still going strong. On the forums we often see
discussions about whether there will ever be another update for the
game. Well, today we are happy to announce that we are working on an
update for Battlefield 2. We are planning to provide an open beta in the
near future and we hope you'll give us your feedback before final
release; so watch out for that.
Keep an eye on http://www.Battlefield.com for
information on what we are working on, release dates and don't forget to
visit our forums.
In the mean time Battlefield Bad Company is released worldwide this week
and we expect it will keep you occupied while we work on the update.
Regards,
DICE Live team
That's what I thought, they usually do open beta's and this one hasn't had one.
...i hope they dont make us pay for ONE map.....my credit cards are way overdue..........
OMG, that picture on the cover must be from the future!M.O.A.B wrote:

It's probably a reference to Red Dawn...

But seeing as it's in the Armored Fury booster, a release focused on maps in the United States, I would imagine this new AF map would take place in the US.

You know I really doubt they'd make an AF only map.
It might be there on the list simply because its at the bottom and the map doesn't have a designated area yet.

yea, it doesn't make logical (money) sense bring out a map for the least played add-on, maybe a SF map but really it should be a vBF2 map.alexbay13 wrote:

but then again, who here would buy AF if it was a map for it and how many new servers would there be?
Confirmed, relieved, and excited with anticipation.... Also, weren't Ashtin Kutcher'dMint Sauce wrote:
