This is one of the things I hate.  No, I don't hate gays or any group overall, maybe individuals within the group, or I may disagree with a group, but I will never hate a group (1 exception but I wont go into detail.)

What I do hate however is that people think this world is coming to an end, oh the humanity!  Intolerance, cruelty and other horrible things are on a dramatic rise!  No...  it is actually on an incredible decrease, its just that we hear about every little bad thing that is happening in the world.

-what its long term consequences will be

the only way to properly deal with emotion is to deal with in the most appropriate way, in other words: logically.

Of course, nobody can live up to such an ideal way of life as it is not possible to take every factor into account, but you should try. And almost nobody does. Just like you, specops.

Mainly I hate the modern consumption society, and all the things it has spawned.

Including but not limited to:
Immense power and respect of money
Ridiculous fashion
Ridiculous teens
People "growing up too fast". Children should be children. The age they suddenly become teens is lowering too much.
Grouping of people
Bullying (yes, I truly hate the concept of bullying, because it is never justified)

Also:
Racism
Extreme political, religious, or other groups/ideologies
Internet coolkids
People who have great power and influence upon huge amounts of people, yet they use it wrong.

Groups of people who walk side by side in the hallway really slowly and are in front of me so I can't go around them. Also when a bunch of people congregate around someone's locker so they're taking up half the hallway

You don't understand - even in these 'adventures', can I not just assess the risks and possible outcomes of it, and make a choice based on that? Can I not think "These are my chances based on what I do know, and I'm willing to take that chance and accept a loss if it does go wrong"? Attempting to deal with everything in the most appropriate manner does not mean avoiding anything that could go wrong, that would be missing the point entirely.

You can go on living your life without any emotion, or attempting to suppress your emotion, but thats your life, do not tell me how to live my life.

I think you are getting stuck on the definitions of those words - what do you think dealing with your emotions logically means? An illogical and inappropriate way of dealing with your emotions would be to, say, needlessly insult people because you're not in a good mood. Or to be unwilling to do anything about a trauma or depression, and instead of getting help for it you just continue to live out your days while your problems affect you constantly by because you think you can handle them.
A logical way of dealing with your emotions means to resolve anything negative in the most non-destructive way you can, to try to see if the things you do are just a subconscious result of anything emotional, and to aim to be in a mood where you can be happy, calm, and rational.
