I find that even with the minimal one sometimes. Especially when you want to take a screenshot. I don't like the way players names appear right in the center of the screen, and there's alw\ays crap everywhere. It ruins a lot of great screenshots. I wish there was a way to temporarily disable it for screenshots.

The screenshot button (default F5) automatically rearranges the name of the player to be in the lower right corner of the finished screenshot (when taking shots of frozen moments in time (after someone killed you),,,

I'm pretty sure that there's a command to disable HUD... And you could make one button first disable HUD then take a screenshot and finally put the HUD back up again.

I've tried sv_..something.

Not tried togglehud. i'll make a script then. I was wondering if there was a way. What I wish though, was that you could move the players names away from the middle of the screen. They're right in the way.

Edit: Ok, i couldn't find a togglehud, but i found:

cl_drawhud 1/0

It does the trick. However, it can only be used when sv_cheats is set to 1. Which i think is pretty retarded.

Is there another way do you think?

That will hide the HUD, wait a few frames to make sure it's hidden, take a picture and then turn the HUD back on. Unfortunately, cl_drawhud is apparently a cheat, and multiplayer servers probably won't let you use it.
