Similar to the BF2s FuShe Boat Race....

Date: Sunday 3rd February
Time: 7pm GMT (Time in Your Part of the World) (in 3 Feb 2008 19:00:00 GMT)
Location: BF2s EU Mod Server [Unranked]
Slots: 40 max.
What you need to download: Nothing (we mean it this time.... )

Information
  • 20 FAV's spawn at "South Base"
  • Start line is where the vehicles spawn
  • Finish Line is at the Bunker right in the corner of the North Island.
  • Shoot anyone- Your "Team mates" arn't your Team Mates!
Modifications
  • 20 FAV's spawn at South Base
  • All other Flags, Spawnpoints and Vehicles removed.
  • USMC also spawn at South Base
  • FAV's take more damage (x3)
  • FAV's have been sped up
Rules
  • No shooting until the race has started
  • Each team consists of 2 players
  • When you die, you may spawn back and try again (but good luck winning!)
  • If you are shot out of the FAV, you may spawn again (squads!)
  • Winner is the first FAV to reach it to the Bunker (if one of your squad members die, YOU can still win!)
  • People who mess around WILL be kicked (no exceptions)
  • Shooting when not inside FAV's is not allowed.

Meh, it's an EU server so we'll most likely end up with mainly EU players. I guess it depends what time 7pm GMT is in the US. (Can't remember my time zones.)

Hey, we had a lot of you eurofags on the blackhawk tournament. It doesn't matter where the server is, if people want to play a fun event, they'll risk the ping. 7PM is 2PM east coast time. The game is at 6PM (-5gmt), but some people still make an all day event out of it. Plus I'm sure there's some people over there that'll be watching it.

Also, I think there should be a rule of no shooting at all...too many people died in the boat race, and it was always one boat at the finish....it's more fun if all the cars race together....if someone crashes into a tree that's their fault.

Officially, "no", but the chances of everyone turning up is 0, so spaces will always be availible.

BR is on the server though, and im sure people will be frapping along.

Imma guessing there will be multiple small races like there was on the boat race- so i'm sure all these rules will change race-race.

Driving normally however, will avoid the "teamwork" in the event, and also the occupant wont have much to do.
40 vehicles on wake takes the piss a bit.
