So, after almost eight years of bitching about the Bush Tax Cuts, the democrats are saying that cutting taxes, or a tax rebate is a good way to stimulate the economy.https://i15.tinypic.com/2nlr1fl.gif

Hillary Clinton claims to be the most experienced candidate, after eight years as a jilted first lady and eight years of being a NY senator. Her husband, the first black president, is doing everything he can to destroy him who would be...the first black president.https://i19.tinypic.com/42s1u34.gif

Consumer confidence is in the gutter. People are not spending money. The ripple effect is killing businesses across the nation. It's not that people are just afraid of losing the value of their homes, their IRA and savings. What is making people nervous is the reckless spending their government does. The lack of border control. The wars without aim or end.

Until some modicum of responsibility and sanity is returned to the government people will continue to hoard their chips, and the economy will continue to founder.https://i7.tinypic.com/72bbz3d.gif

I am a business owner. My revenues are down 60% over a year ago. As are my peers. As are the trucking companies that ship our goods. My business is internet based and my customer pool is nationwide and EVERYBODY is singing the blues.https://i16.tinypic.com/487n34o.gif

It doesn't matter who is elected. Until some modicum of responsibility and sanity is returned to the government  this Tower shall fall. https://i2.tinypic.com/8fxhhxt.gif

Vote Ron Paul and your economy will be worth something tangtible again.

Ron Paul wrote:

1. Tax Reform: Reduce the tax burden and eliminate taxes that punish investment and savings, including job-killing corporate taxes.

2. Spending Reform: Eliminate wasteful spending. Reduce overseas commitments. Freeze all non-defense, non-entitlement spending at current levels.

3. Monetary Policy Reform: Expand openness with the Federal Reserve and require the Fed to televise its meetings. Return value to our money.

4. Regulatory Reform: Repeal Sarbanes/Oxley regulations that push companies to seek capital outside of US markets. Stop restricting community banks from fostering local economic growth.
Tax cuts only make sense when they come with Spending cuts.

If we didn't spend so much to fight wars we can't win with troops (War on Terror, Drug War) we might have a better economy.  Maybe we would have the ability to: spend money on domestic issues instead of bombs; Reduce corruption so $8 billion doesn't vanish into thin air; stop money from flowing from government to one sector of the economy, stop borrowing money from foreign investors, etc.

Oh really... for an internet phenomenon he has raised a lot of money.  Hasnt he raised more money from personnel in the armed forces than any other presidential candidate?

Another Paul constituency, interestingly enough, comes from the military. A study by the Center for Responsive Politics found Paul received more campaign cash from members of the military than any other Republican presidential candidate.

The study of contributions of $200 and more during the first two quarters shows that Paul has raised three times as much from members of the military as what's been raised by GOP fundraising front-runner Romney, and four times what Giuliani garnered.

So the rich get richer? How do corporate taxes effect me? Sounds like Shenanigans.

What does he mean by "freeze"? As in no more increases?

Ron Paul wrote:

Who? Like China or Iran? Why exactly do we want other countries owning a piece of America?

I'm an idiot. Please speak very slow and clearly when emailing your replies back asap.

How do they verify who was in the military when they donate online?

Let me guess: you think this was just Ron Paul supporters pretending to be in the Military when they donated?

That's only when people donate more than $200 (most people don't). Since Ron Paul fans are obsessive compulsive they are content with pissing their money away on a candidate that has no chance.

Hehe, it did feel that way a little bit

Thats fair enough, I can understand why you would think he cant win.  But how much of what he stands for do you agree/disagree with?  The only way any politician stands a chance of winning is if people to support them.  You dont vote for the winner or the one who raised the most money or the one who aired the most ads, you vote for the candidate who most reflects what you believe in.

So far he hasn't said one word I disagree with.

Unless it's a anti-vote, like it was for me with Kerry, like it will be if Hillary gets the nomination; I don't care if they are dead, if they can keep her out that's who my vote goes to.
