When I bought the game it was a spur of the moment decision. I hadn't seen any reviews or read any information at all about the game. Therefore, if I had then discovered that it was going to cost me money to 'enjoy' the game, I'm pretty sure that I would have decided not to pay any form of subscription.
In fact, I'm 100% sure that I would not have paid. I would have probably kept the game and not played it as much and I would have probably played it for less time. One of the main reasons I've never bought WoW is because of the fees.

No...if it was a feature that needed to be paid for, I wouldn't have discovered stats in the first place.
