just came back from working this weekend in the army for the first time since my surgery and buying this game as well. I found it pretty interesting to see how god damn popular this game is amongst my fellow troops. 360, PC, and PS3. It seemed like there were a lot more people playing video games than I knew. I mean, in the infantry, its pretty much expected. But, in psyop, Im around a bunch of walking brains. Thought Id share

But seriously, this game is about 100X more popular than the other CoD games.

Well, xfire is not really a reliable source for minutes played. It only tracks the players that have xfire on while playing the game.

Plus, it doesnt include console iterations of the game. And practically every friend ive got on xbl plays CoD4 at least once a day.
