I mean, you can say about Ajhamadinedschad (sp) what you want, but he had the guts to travel to the US and face questions from US students, on american soil. I would love to see the next US president travel to Teheran and actually talk to the guy before sending the Marines.
The US is already waging a war against Iran. The CIA has been trying to get a 'Western friendly' government in Iran and toppling democratic governments since the 70s. When you clandestinely go against the wishes of the people of another country its no different than marching in with tanks and troops and removing a government and that's war either way IMO.
Now a days its a media war waged against the dumb asses who can't research and think for themselves and who ultimately vote for the dumb asses who want to start a war for resources and power under the guise of improving the peoples way of life ala Iraq. And we all know what a huge fuck up that has become. The people of America see the mess in Iraq and know that Iran is that times 10. It will take some serious spin doctoring to convince the US people to support a conventional war against Iran.

No all out war. At most, limited air and cruise missile strikes on their nuke facilities (and probably some Qods Force installations for good measure). Even the likelihood of that is dropping daily.

No doubt in my mind that war is immanent...the is bound to be a WW3 that will bring change, and a new world order in 2012. Just like that guy Nostradamus predicted. But I know if the Us goes to war Canada will have to pull out of Afghanistan and commit more soldiers to the "conflict". Then Some how China will Get pissed off and try to take the oil from the middle ease and thus America will go to war with them Blah blah blah! Then WW3 and Canada will profit(mabey?) like we did in Vietnam by selling weapons to the USA

As I said somewhere else I'm sure Iran will step over the line, they'll be next. Wether the US can afford the war is a definite no as Cam implied, but they could if the europeans would send out more troops ; which most likely will happen if clearly the iranians are the agressors.

Yeah but Russia's getting friendly with Iran, would put huge economical sanctions on the US, crippling ones. Bush should focus on managing to sustain the American economy without the dependance of oil before starting another war.

I very much doubt your IQ surpasses mine, but if you were so smart as you want to say you should know IQ is nothing more than a 3 digit number. That's all. Nothing to it, and it won't get you through life either.
