Apparently one of our clan's recruits was using a "mombot" or a "mambot". What exactly does it do?

I want to know if it's a serious thing (like an aimbot or wallhack) or something not as serious (so that perhaps he can redeem himself by playing clean).

lol... its a hack, the video even says so. One of my clan mates was in a server and was killed and in chat it wrote, "You were headshot by mombot at 30ft" or something.

and whats the point, you're the only one who can see your stats (which are saved on your computer)
add in a server with kill-cam, and I'll say that CoD4 hackers are even more idiotic than BF2 hackers.
