So with surfing, i get far. Then rape everyone with awesome shots and get accused.
Was a matter of 1 minute i think on a surf map with SamTheMan i had a score of 11-0 and had a foreigner repeating Hacker over VoIp.

the deathmatch server:
camping, very little surfing, extremely easy maps, populated by utter retards. the most populair kind of surf server, probably 3/4 of all surf servers are like this.
the average server:
no deathmatch, but only easy and populair maps. Again, worthless.
The skill server:
only has difficult surf maps that have no or very little focus on combat. Look up the dragonrock surf server
The awesome server:
has the most difficult maps, and some proper surf/combat maps. Visit NY Fiber or Akron surf servers for this.
A few servers of the last two categories pop up once in a while, but akron/fiber/dragonrock are the best.
If you're good at surfing, 'skill' maps give you a royal reward for it. skill surf maps generally have a prison, anyone who fails to finish the map go there. the people who complete the map get to finish off everyone in the prison. It varies from map to map: on amplitude, people in the prison are completely defenseless against the winner, and the winner gets to do with em whatever he wants.

It's still up and running as TheWaspNest now I believe. BlockfortV4 and HalfPipeV4 are the best!!!
And yes, DM/RPG surf servers suck.
