What, in your opinion, BF2s, is the best guitar riff of all time?

What has the most feeling? The most sincerity?  The most feeling?  The most emotion?  The best, time withstanding riff of all time? The most true, honest, and heartfelt riff of all time?

I sit here listening to the opening of "Shine on you crazy diamond" By Pink Floyd (live on the PULSE Tour) and see nothing better than this.

It's my own personal opinion, and in this moment, I ask you , to share such a perfect, amazing, heartfelt, riff (song) such as this..

and go!

Nice.  it's up there. I agree.  But, IMO, the truth behind the song that Metaliica wrote, is still lost behind "shine on...."

Metallica may be the Pink Floyd of metal?!?!?

I could listen to any Slash riff for hours on end.

This has to be one of my all time favorites, though.

There are way too much good riffs to pick out a single one and say it's THE best.

One of my favorites would be snow by RHCP.

Wow I was just about to say that.

Comfortably Numb has a such a deep solo, The sound of it has like such a great feeling to it.

Tom Schulz's famous riff in Boston's "More Than A Feeling" is a classic, and is related to the riff of "Louie Louie", the song made famous by the movie National Lampoon's Animal House. That makes it a great one for me; and I know that despite my dislike of the song, many of you likely know Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit", which bases its riffs off of the first two songs.

"Rain" by Dryve... Thrifty Mister Kickstar Album. Best, most emotion-invoking guitar riffs I have ever heard. Starts out slow, then builds to a beautiful guitar piece.

Ummm, I am going to date myself here but the best riff I ever head was on the Randy Rhoades Tribute album. I forget which song it was.

Beginning rhythm riff, Metallica's Enter Sandman.

Most famous solo would probably be Master of Puppets.

Just plain shredding and insane talent?  Pick any Satriani song really, but Surfing With The Alien is hard to beat.

There is so much talent flying across the strings of Satriani guitar it's hard to believe it's all contained in one man.
