download CPU-z.  good little tool.  There is a tab that says mainboard and it will give you the description.
http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

Also the 8800 GT is a good option.  The 6 weeks till delivery sucks, but 255 is a good deal.

PCI-E x16. Get 8800GT and you are set. Assuming it's within your budged. Check your PSU though

Graphics card, just make sure your PSU will run it. The problem with dell computers is they are NOT upgradable... you have to upgrade the psu 99% of the time when getting new shit for dells.

Based on this i would say ram

Seriously,, remove all that crap like: "google desktop" (which is spyware unless configured properly)

ALL That crap in your tray is doing nothing but slow your PC down,, and google bar in your taskbar ?? wtf ??

Do you just press "yes" to everything that pops up on the internet ?????

No.
You'll need a new psu, undoubtedly.

Dell understates their PSU's, but they're still pieces of shit. Get a GameXStream 700watt from OCZ.
DO NOT skimp on the PSU.

I'm pretty sure you could find a decent 500-600 watt power supply for $70. (Decent, not ultimate )

brb, finding one.

EDIT: Found one.

EDIT: Better for less money.

should i go with the cheaper one or the more expensive one, I really don't have a budget (haven't spent any money since the summer) but i would rather keep it cheap

Well, the 700watt OCZ has room for upgrades, so if you want SLI, you could go for it. How ever, because it is a dell, I do not see that happening.

If you plan on building your own rig eventually, get the 700 watt. If you just plan on upgrading this tower only, get the cheaper model.
