So, I just saw the movie on DVD, and it was amazing. I cried from the brilliance. Not literally, but still, it was beautiful.

Yeah. I was on vacation in the Wisconson dells, and one day it rained. So I drove to the nearest store and bought it for soemthing to pass the time.

Well actually, when they piled the bodies to make a wall, there was blood soaked all over the ground.
no blood on weapons either. all the blood would have taken away from the art of the film plus would have increased the rating.
The spears had plenty of blood on them, I saw blood on the swords too.
My father in law just bought a 73" DLP and a PS3. I watched a bit of it on Blueray, and it was grainy as fucking hell!!! He had his custom tweaker guy for his company come out to fix it on Saturday, so I haven't seen it since. Though, I believe it was grainy because we were sitting 10 feet from the tv. We played Resistance: Fall of Man on it just before, and the quailty was amazing.
300 was one of the best movies i have ever seen.

Bought it. It was good...just like in the theatre. Bought Hot Fuzz too. What an overblown hunk of shit that movie was. Nowhere near as funny as Shawn of the Dead.

thats because its not real blood they used the cgi to do the blood effects, also none of the scenery was real all fake would of been better if they spoke Greek, filmed at the actual location or in Greece somewhere, and if they used more real people over and used actual blood instead of the cgi.Ryan wrote:
