I get a phone call from Hawley Optical (the company im gona be working for) saying, 'Congratulations, you start next monday' (there was more but cant remember), so this is my first proper paid job, i'll be working for a company that makes glass lenses which is a pretty skilled job to do so i will get quite a good pay check!

Im so happy i cant stop smiling, so drinks are on me \

Too bad you guys cant be here to get the free drink so it'll just me me and my mates

Also, you'll be fine as long as you don't have to spell 'start'.

Congrats. Im just happy i dont have to worry about a life time job till ive finished uni. Just got my marks for my first year. Booo YAH! 51% after missing 2 exams due to flu and failing 2 modules so after retakes should be like 65%.

By the phrase "Its my first proper paid job" tells me that its the first actual job outside of the family. And don't you need like... trade skill to create lenses? Or are they just gonna throw you into clerical work? Because I doubt they would let a 17 year old kid manufacture a high precision optic.
