BF2S Forums why isnt bf2 working still? for AUS!

Is that when you log into BF2? Or when you try to join GameArena or Node servers?

I have the same problem

Ummm...yeh, ive had that problem aswell, and when i did get in the stats took something like a week to update....FUCK YOU EA!!!

no ive got my firewall to accept BF2 and PB. so im not sure what the go is

Try starting Bf2 from the disc. I.e, putting it in the drive, and then starting it up, click on "play online" from there.
Also, try turning off your firewall, and cancelling anti-virus and any other background tasks. If that doesn't help. Then it's probably a problem with EA.
I haven't played at all today, seeing as my disc is lost. So I can't help with the problem first hand.

i always play bf2 witht he disc in the drive, and ive also tryed to play it pressing the "play online", still doesnt work. i dont have anti-virus, and firewall is set to accept bf2 and PB.

It's most likely an EA problem then. Probably having trouble connecting to their main server.
Don't worry, I'm sure they'll stuff issues like this up with the next patch.

well i was playing at about 12 or 1pm and it was still working then for me. i was playing on both node and GA servers. i'd say you'd have to put it down to your isp cause i'm with exetel and had then same problem a few times a while back when they were doing maintenance. i guess all i can say is just hang out. telstra FTL imo.

well 1st u have to access it through IE or firefox (default password should be admin)by going to the address 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 depending on ur default gateway. after u log in find the filter section or security section, it differs from router to router. and then add the ports for UDP and TCP try 1500-4999

it isnt workin 4 me either and nor do any ea sites on the web. ive got PB and BF2 enabled for the firewall and ive tried everythin else
