Hi,

First of all, sorry for my bad English :>

When i connect to a server, and press the "Ready to play" button, i get a connection problem error and i get dropped to the main screen of battlefield My internet settings are 256 kb/s at the options menu, can anyone can solve this problem?

do u have the latest patch? make sure u have a pretty good ping on the server
ping it from the ur cmd 1st

by ready to play u mean join game button im guessing?

what are ur specs? does the game run smoothly on singleplayer?

My specs are:
P4 2.6 ghz
512 mb
Radeon 9600 XT 128 MB

but some days ago, i could play battlefield 2 on a game-event, so that isn't the problem.

r u behind a firewall does ur isp have limitations?

i'll check that, but isn't there anything else to solve it? Because i can play other games like counterstrike, counterstrike source, halflife 2, C&C and other games

it looks like a connection problem if all servers do that.

u have legal account right? and the game seams to work fine so its internet settings if ur behind a firewall disable it and if ur behind a router u need to open some ports maybe

that's all i can think of

Well, my BF is fully legal, and firewalls on my computer are off. Maby you know how to open ports on my router?

well 1st u have to access it through IE or firefox (default password should be admin)by going to the address 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 depending on ur default gateway. after u log in find the filter section or security section, it differs from router to router. and then add the ports for UDP and TCP try 1500-4999

opening ports doesnt works I have tried to open all ports, but still no connection to the server

sorry, i was wrong, i entered something wrong in my router, but thanks for all your help, it works right now!
