If the mods close threads we're called Nazis and accused of "denying free speech" ... if we leave them open, we are thought of as incompetent and too lenient.   I'm not very tolerant of junk in the main sections of this board, and tend to close and move them more quickly than in the Junk Drawer.  Clearly, the Junk Drawer has a much lower threshold for thread-worthiness.
