Will the US selling these weapons to Israel promote peace and stability in the middle east? Could there be potential problems from doing this? Or is it just allies trading weapons with allies like the US and the UK?Reuters wrote:

Who disagrees and who agrees? In my opinion Israel is an important ally to the USA and they are in the most dangerous place, surrounded by countries who don't want them there so I don't see the problem with them wanting to protect themselves. Possible repercussions could be that this won't help relations with other countries in the middle east, but they're not exactly great at the minute are they?
