Not necessarily. An object can accelerate by stretching, so the object itself doesn't move, only one it's sides.

Acceleration is not just a difference in speed over a certain time, it is a change in velocity and so can be a change in speed or direction.

Everything on your computer (meaning programs, etc.) that you use is made up of binary codes or commands typed in. (i.e. 01000101110101001 or <run program file> hard hat mac </run>

Nope, the programs on your computer are written in programming languages, like C++, C#, .NET, Java, etc. which is converted back to machine code for your hardware. Some of Battlefield 2 is written in Python so people could mod it.

Since we're heading to web-based apps, most programs will be running in PHP, Javascript and XML. BF2s.com's Stats is an 'application', but its entirely written in PHP, stored on MySQL (AFAIK) and enhanced for the user with Javascript. Just because its not in its own window, doesn't mean its not a program.

Commands typed in: yes but not in terms you specified. Programming languages are instructions and functions - IF, WHILE, ECHO to be simplistic - what your example demonstrates is a command prompt. Programming can be so much more than cmd.exe and Batch files.

even further, the fact that you did not include the word 'year' in the statement leaves the random number '1775' up to interpretation as to what it means

if you read the title of the thread it's not, 'i can prove anything wrong', it's 'claim anything, i'll prove it wrong.'  so far he has, but it technically is a never ending quest for perfection, or so to speak.
