I think I'll make a new Poll too:
What's better? BF2 or Falling off a cliff into very pointy rocks while contracting syphilis from a porcupine?

My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.
Sometimes I think falling off a cliff into very pointy rocks while contracting syphilis from a porcupine might be the way to go after a lousy round or three of BF2.
windows FTW. Way less time consuming to work with.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
But you're a self-proclaimed PC Geek. Anyone knows a geek only works with systems too confusing for the general public, like Setup Wizards.max wrote:

Windows for bf2 and almost everything. Knoppix STD for "networking" and austrumi for its simplicity.
Yeah, setup wizards are so hard to useCheez wrote:

I used to run linux, but no matter how secure it is, I just do not want to spend hours doing the simplest tasks (like installing a printer)

Undeclared variables, undeclared type...
If you're in a windows only network then you use windows server. If you use a webserver, email server, just about any kind of file server then you should be using linux or one of the bsd's.
And yeah, asking in a BF2 gaming forum about linux vs windows ain't exactly the best plan, you may find some peoples views are just a tad bit skewed...
Never heard of the other one.So Windows it is.
hahahaha, nice one. You were serious? even bigger rofljord wrote:

Small Error in the title. Should be "Which is better" not best.
But to get back on topic, I've had Windows since my first ever PC and I really can't imagine switching to something else. Dunno if it's fanboyism, but I'd say it's more of just being comfortable with this brand.
