As long as it's a nondestructive one. Suicide cults or people who believe they are they are instruments and must use poison gas to bring about the apocalypse...that's where some intervention is probably needed.

I think something needs to be done when I cult tries to take down people with them, start murdering (Manson), or harm anyone who tries to get away.
Edit: Yes I'm aware the Catholic church did this hundreds of years ago but the Vatican has admitted that it was a mistake. Besides, many religions in the world at the time did similar acts.

If you don't care, then you are probably too young to have experienced the power of beliefs. Beliefs are not idle little opinions and thoughts ... they become laws, regulations, customs, and expectations which ultimately affect you ...
I see your logic, but I think you are forgetting that we are discussing whether or not we care about others' religious beliefs.
