I go to search:

battlefield.ea.com

But then it goes to a search engine!! I search 'Battlefield 2142' and it shows the UK version, but thats a crap site ... Ha looks like EA lost something last night when the masterserver shut.

There are currently issues with some Battlefield 2 and 2142 servers. The appropriate teams are aware and working to get everyone back on the battlefield.

I'll update this announcement when more information is available.
