A 17-year-old girl who spent weeks looking for her missing dog unwrapped a box left at her house and found the pet's severed head inside, authorities said.

Homicide investigators were looking into the case because of the "implied" terroristic threat, St. Paul Police Sgt. Jim Gray said. The Humane Society of the United States said Wednesday it was offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

- When I just thought people really couldn't get much sicker. This is absolutely disgusting. People in this world have no right to treat poor defenseless animals this way.

What are your feeling about this? I find it gutwrenching and disturbing.

So what?
The OP in that thread left absolutely nothing that would turn up in a search.
Maybe you should consider that next time.

Question:  animal cruelty can not go too far?  Like, there's a magic amount that's just right?

Non-abusive teasing. Like sneaking up and throwing a blanket over the top of a cat. Still cruel, but not like putting a dog head in a shoe box.

Kind of like, is cutting off a cats whiskers animal cruelty?

Or nailing a squirrel to a tree in a crucifix type of way considered cruel?

M80 in a bullfrog's ass?

Definitely cutting a dogs head off and sending it too its owner is beyond animal cruelty and on into mental anguish for the owner.

I just hope they get the person and plaster his mug all over the tube.

I propose send him/her to a prison, strap him to ol sparky face in seat, ass in air, and have HARDGAY HOOOO! Razor Ramon insert a litter of gerbils in the arse and cork it. Leave him.

Don't even get me started on this.  During our legislative session this year there was a bill that would make animal cruelty a felony.  It was shot down by two high ranking legislators.  One claimed that animals don't have the same sanctity as human life, and the other not wanting to do it because a felony would be on someone's record and make it so they couldn't own a gun.

We certainly have no shortage of village idiots where I live.

Maybe we should abduct said legislators house pets and rent a woodchipper, then see what tune he sings.
