Since he was sentenced before he gained immunity, shouldn't he still be executed?

Meh, he's an agent of Iran, so I guess the US Military will kill him soon enough.

You don't need an extradition treaty when your government's army is occupying the country.

If he's in Kuwait, yes.

That's democracy for you gentlemen. The people wanted him in office and they got him in office. If you don't like democracy then don't preach about it to others. If you want to impose your will on others, against their will, than state it openly and let's not beat about the bush. Let's be done with all this 'we have the interests of the Iraqis at heart' bullshit. Seen it all before with the election of Hamas to power in Palestine.

You gotta face it - the vast majority of people in the middle east don't like America and don't want anything to do with it. Comprende? So you have two choices:

a) Concentrate on defence and domestic security: FORTRESS AMERICA.

or

b) Kill every last bearded person with sallow skin in the entire world.

The new Iraqi Government is full of criminals. The Minister for the Interior is responsible for creating the death squads which are slaughtering scores of people each day. Watched a dispatches documentary the other week. They interviewed a couple of 'Ex' American special advisers, both went to the US administration with evidence looking for said minister to be removed as he had just inducted the Mardi Army into the police force by the hundred. His own private army given relative impunity. The special advisers were removed from their position and sent home. The Minister has since been promoted to interior minister.

lol.. I wonder who checked the background of those who ran for parliament in 2005. Good job. At least now we know why they call it "intelligence"...

Anyways, they'll strip him of his immunity and send his ass to Kuwait, provided he doesn't flee again.

Dead man walking...

So can we get off Clinton for "letting Bin Laden go" now? I mean, at least he didn't put the terrorists in power.

No, sorry.  Billy had a chance to ventilate Osama’s head and passed on it.  No irony, either.  The Iraqis have placed this man in a position of power, not the US.  And you must have missed this part of the story.

"A U.S. Embassy spokesman said officials are actively pursuing Jamal Jafaar Mohammed's case with Iraqi officials. Al-Maliki has urged American intelligence officials to share their information with Iraqi lawmakers, who could strip Jamal Jafaar Mohammed of his parliamentary immunity."

He'll be dealt with . . .
