So as I edge closer to the ranks of the Brigadier General (around 600 points to go - or a Valorous Unit Service Ribbon - 2000 points), how did you other Generals react when you hit the rank?

I can't play again til Sunday so I'll have to wait ... OMG I can't wait!!

For like a day I was like YAAAAAAAY, General bow down to me pesant colonels etc.  When I went to check what you need for maj and lt I thought hmmmmmmmmmm.  Now here I am weeks later and find myself just fanying around for no apparant reason. 

Right now my goal is to get into the top 1000 players (about 1100th atm) once I do that.  Then........  NS I suppose, and that will be fun for like a weekend........  General in bf2 wasnt happening for me, I couldnt sit in a tank for 100 hours (I got lt colonel) so I assumed it would be made more atainable in 2142.  But this is stupid, it defeats the puropse of getting general.  Fuckin tons of generals running around now thinking there awsome.  You earn points about half as quick as in bf2 yes (I mean points u actually earned, not badges ribons etc) is about the equiv of a serg major in bf2.  That was a mile stone, but then there was the officer classes and what have you, now wer maxed out and cant progress.  It, kinda sucks.  So long winded explination short I choose :

'Great, I've finished ... now what'?

I think they will bring out some more ranks.  Surely they must, I mean in bf2 originally 2nd lt was 200,000 rather than 60,000 points....  Then all the other major, captain etc in between 2nd lt and General.  Tbh I would be ok giving up my general status and go to being a captain, if General was made a much higher requirement than it is now.  Its bullshit the way it is.  Still tis only a game

I Chose the now waht option.. As i nealy have all gold badges. There are 3 that i proberly wont get, and one that will take a bit of work.. Have most of the medals too... So what else is there too do???

I would try to get top 1000 but i don't have the time anymore. Im 1300 If gaming would earn my money i'd be in top 500 haha...

Hope the booster brings something new

I didn't even notice till the game ended and the unlock screen came up. I don't care about ranks but the ranking system in this game is pitiful. I am curious to know if anyone is aware of how you obtain the last two ranks (excluding Supreme). I just find it odd that such a huge percentage of the top players are just a General still, but players with a 6th of those points are actually truly maxed out with ranks already.
