Seriously. Don't even give WoW a chance. It sucks, trust me - everyone thinks this, even avid WoW players - unfortunatly for them it is too late, the beast has it's claws in them and won't let go. They play and play and play in misery, suffering false elation when something good happens in game, but realisticly wasting away their lives.

As far as I'm concerned, WoW is the same as hard drugs. I didn't know Blizzard had started giving out free trials, I knew they had the $10, (NZD,) trial, but the free trial is just so similar to drug-dealer mentality that it's honestly quite scary.

ty is right. blizzard is a bunch of childeating assholes. if you want to get your life wasted, start with a free trail but believe me, I played it myself and I have been addicted. and I saw many friendships and relationships going down the drain, because of this fuckin piece of software. just do yourself, your family and your friends a favor and dont start with that shit. if you didnt play it up to today, you dont have to start tomrrow

Its a good game... for people that are into MMORPG. If people really get that addicted to it, its their problem. I play, but only when I feel like it, and am far from addicted.

Its the best game in its genre, and if people want to play it, let them.

If you let it "ruin your life" then you have serious problems.

Also, don't knock it til you've tried it.

Every other game ever made has come out with a demo, why should WoW be any different? Paying for a trial? Come on, who does that? That argument works exactly the same for any other game that has a demo.

I don't condone the use of hard drugs WoW in anyway, however.
