It's not great, especially with integrated graphics, but it's better than what you've got. With it you'd be able to pop in a better video card and another GB of ram later.

It will run, n thats about it, all low I would expect.  I would agree with the guys about swapping stuff, especially the graphics card, but honestly, your looking at $1000 for a machine that can shrug off bf2/2142.  Could get away with it for $800 though, will look around, definetly need a differenct graphics card, and the more ram the better.

Yes it will

That comp isn't the greatest, it's decent, but it sure kicks the hell out of your current computer.

Integrated Graphics are poo. I have a 9800, which will beat an Integrated Graphics hands down, and I'm playing on fairly minimum settings. It will be struggling.

1GB is fine on low graphics, but any higher and it struggles at the start, dumping the Verified Client Data and loading the game (again), of course it only does that once you've spawned

If you still want to go that setup, get a motherboard that can support Core2Duo at least, f'later. But if you can, get a Core2Duo and something like... ah... a 6600GT? That's a nice card, plays mediums very well.

That will be fine just throw in a 7600GT and you will be able to play on all high.

I play all high @ 1440x900 with:
4200+ X2
1GB
7600GT

Your specs aren't much farther from mine so I would imagine that unless you run 1600x1200 you could run on all high settings if you put in a 7600GT.

Im guessing that pc is prebuilt so its better to buy all hte parts you want off the net and put it together your self or just ring a pc shop and they will be able to put it together for a small price.
