This documentary from BBC called The Power of Nightmares suggests that there's no such thing as an al Qaeda network or organization. Here is the whole Episode 3 which talks about al Qaeda and the deluded state of panic the Neo-Conservatives have created.

I need to watch that sometime, don't have any time right now. But yeah, to the extent that the media portrayed them there is no Al Qaeda. They were saying they had James Bond bad guy style massive uber bunker things. Which they quite clearly don't.

From my former experience in the field, I would say that documentary is about 90% accurate and they filled in a few gaps themselves. I'll reserve this space and give you a detailed rundown of the differences between my work in 95 to 98.

The basic premise though holds true, Al Qaeda is a marketting brand name that has only very recently been picked up on because it plays well in American media. It creates a sort of black and white "GI Joe vs. Cobra" dynamic that makes it easy to point fingers and lay blame when in reality we created most of the monsters ourselves to serve other purposes, and we even still directly support them financially and technically but also point the finger. Terrorist organizations rarely have a singular unified purpose and rarely cooperate in the real world as well, at least no longer than absolutely necessary. It makes the USA almost laughable in the hypocrisy we foist upon the ME and absolutely not trustworthy. This hypocrisy has also been one of the major causes of intelligence failures, because in order to recruit and keep good inside agents, you need to not bomb them or torture them when it becomes politically expedient.

(reserved - new baby so no time for detailed analysis on the clip, but I did preview it and found it mostly accurate in details and completely accurate in its premise)

There is an Al Qaeda network/organisation, they just aren't as organised as has been suggested. They aren't, for example, the USMC with rigid command structures and well defined units. Rather, they are a loose coalition of people with similar aims, who sometimes share funding and information. Al Qaeda does exist, it's just not something that can be targetted.

All right now we r getting somewhere. There may be no al qaeda, but we know there r terrorist. they do exist. However it is good to see a portion of the media ask such a question. The thing is, those who understand media know that such programs are owned by media moguls who have links to Neocon Zionists. Now please people don't for a second consider the BBC above fox & the rest. How is research done? that's right, u pose questions to get a response.

Though I tend to believe the whole conspiracy story, please people be aware that Jewish fronts control the media world wide. & in my books the so Called Jewish front to the media only hides something more sinister. Apart from the fact that many or all were Taliban not Al Qaeda, it doesn't negate my point. Going back to my earlier example, I'm sure you'd get some Atheists, but you couldn't possible hope to get all Atheists.

Watch the BBC documentary. They show Rummy saying al Qaeda kinda had a fortress in Afghanistan, like a zillion bunker things, lol. This is about all the BS the Neo-Conservatives told about the War on Terror and how they lied in the face of all the World.
