So the booster pack is (apparently) coming out 11/20. We should get it set so that the server can run them both to help fill the demand for people that want to play but can't find servers.

I was going to buy AF a couple weeks ago via EA Downloader just to fly the little bird, but then I heard about the boost pack in stores, and I'd rather have that. So I'll definitely be getting them.

- It was just such a bust with the downloader, that I'm afraid it will be popular for a week and then nothing ... that is, a waste of money.
- I don't like EA downloader ... I want a real CD.
- I have heard nothing but horrid reviews about EF, but great reviews about AF (I really want AF) ... so I would likely only want AF. But the cost at Amazon is $16.99 for the $9.99 product that I want.
- I'm cheap.

I think that once the pack comes out, more people will play and all the people that had it from before will come back to play it some more. We don't need it to be popular enough to run all week, we just need it to run a night or two a week. Maybe run it for a few days when it first comes out, but after that make a day of the week AF/EF Day. Or even just AF or EF. Whatever.
I would love to see some AF on the server, I want to pwn with the littlebird again. Plus I just need 5 more hours till I get the ribbon. Not so sure about EF though, although if it got put on the server and was popular I guess i would just have to buy it now wouldn't I?
Last night I played some AF and it was very fun, but only 30/50 people were in the server. I cannot wait until the boosters come out in retail, then my favourite part of BF2 will come alive once again. : D
are the specs any different for the boosters.....i have a crap system, run EVERYTHING on low....75% view scale.....do you guys think i would have any problems???
I find AF to be a little more intensive than regualar BF2, because there are more objects, and more explosions, but if your computer can run BF2, then it will run AF. I am sure EF is similar to a map such as Zetar Wetlands for the MEC levels in terms of how well it will play on your computer and Great Wall will play as hard as a city map I would assume.
EF and AF are great. I'm going for my EU medal this weekend... only about 15 hours left.

If a stable rotation running during the week is the best thing for the BF2s US server, then something like running AE/EF on a regular night of the week would be excellent. And, of course, we keep the weekend (and more precisely SNG) open to a featured map rotation that changes week-to-week.
I'm considering purchasing it, but I'll probably stick with what I got.
Armored Fury is the shittttttttttt. We have got to get the "New customer" server running it sometime soon. The Little Bird fucking rules. Little Bird/Cobra combo=unstoppable (assuming I am in one of them!) If the Little Bird has it's own radar, why doesn't the Tunguska? It's got the Giant Fucking Rotating Dish of Uselessness for it.
