Serge, my first link has the osteo finding in it.
But this one is from Harvard and the other is from...? I'm not saying you are right or wrong, I'm saying it hasn't been proved yet that soy or cow milk are good or bad. Both have benefits and risks. So, my advice here is drink Coke.
Well, as vaguely as you've put it, yes, it is quite clear that soy milk is much better than cow milk. On that disputed topic of CAUSING osteoperosis, it's still to be firmly accepted, or not.
It is a fact from unbiased studies that cow milk does in fact contribute to tons of sicknesses while you'd be hard pressed to find sicknesses attributed to soy milk. Look at the chinese..are they fat, slobbering, sick people? Are they dying of the same illnesses that we are? The majority of their diet (and the diets of other healthier nations) is soy. You can't really knock soy.
As for my personal experience, I can tell a world of difference between cow milk and the lack thereof. Same with raising kids with and without it. My two sons have never drinked cows milk...they have hardly been sick, they have no alergies yet, they didn't have snot running from their noses every day like my eldest child (who did have cow milk for a year or so). My wife and I can prove that not drinking cow milk lowered our cholesterol more than any study can.
It's just not a debate between the two products...soy simply owns in all aspects (if fortified with vitamin D..which is not that important if you see sunlight 5 minutes a day).
