So funny how you clowns are such cowards that you are unable to believe truthful, sound advice..something that can save your life..because you're careless and afraid to learn something.  That's cool.  Just trying to stimulate some mature conversation here..something other than ISRAEL, BUSH, BEST COUNTRY, and other done-to-death topics.

Sorry for trying.

I am aware that milk can contribute to allergies, I'm not denying that. But if you knew you we're allergic to bees would you go throw a hive down your pants?

Nice. I see the soy industry is backing this. Understandable I guess, they'd do anything to sell their cancer drink.

Until my doctor who studied medicine and biology for 10 years tells me to stop drinking it, or the FDA bans it, I'll drink milk. I'm an avid milk drinker, been one for 15 years, and my health is fine.

Gonna put your health in the hands of a doctor?  You don't want to know for yourself what's best?

"I'm an avid milk drinker, been one for 15 years, and my health is fine."
Smokers said the same thing before they dropped dead.  lol  And not to equate milk consumption with cigarette smoking, but honestly...if milk is bad, would you WANT to know? Being an avid milk drinker that you are.

SERGE,
another opinion backed up with facts shows some political maneuvering (yes, repbulicans are used by the dairy council)..

You're crazy, you think milk kills you, and everyones addicted to it.

As I said before, I'm from the farming district. We all about cows here. We even have backwater farmers who drink milk straight from the vat (tank - first place milk goes from the cow) because its free. Hear that? RAW MILK. They are not dead. They are alive and kicking. We have people round here that live until 80

But this one is from Harvard and the other is from...?  I'm not saying you are right or wrong, I'm saying it hasn't been proved yet that soy or cow milk are good or bad.  Both have benefits and risks.  So, my advice here is drink Coke.

YOU said it will kill you and that everyone is addicted to it, not me.

And guess what, tobacco farmers are figuring out that their propaganda isn't working too and they're moving to different crops.  Guess you and your neighbors better start getting some angus beef in there and get some edumacation!

Well, as vaguely as you've put it, yes, it is quite clear that soy milk is much better than cow milk.  On that disputed topic of CAUSING osteoperosis, it's still to be firmly accepted, or not.

It is a fact from unbiased studies that cow milk does in fact contribute to tons of sicknesses while you'd be hard pressed to find sicknesses attributed to soy milk.  Look at the chinese..are they fat, slobbering, sick people?  Are they dying of the same illnesses that we are?  The majority of their diet (and the diets of other healthier nations) is soy.  You can't really knock soy.

As for my personal experience, I can tell a world of difference between cow milk and the lack thereof.  Same with raising kids with and without it. My two sons have never drinked cows milk...they have hardly been sick, they have no alergies yet, they didn't have snot running from their noses every day like my eldest child (who did have cow milk for a year or so).  My wife and I can prove that not drinking cow milk lowered our cholesterol more than any study can.

It's just not a debate between the two products...soy simply owns in all aspects (if fortified with vitamin D..which is not that important if you see sunlight 5 minutes a day).

Honestly, I believe in the countless scientific reports rather than 2-4 reports found on the internet that say its bad, I'm sticking with milk, if its so bad how come most milk drinkers don't have osteoporosis? How come we haven't had osteoporosis yet, or our grandparents, or our parents? We've been drinking it our whole lives and I've yet to feel bad or be told by the doctor my condition is bad, whatever floats your boat man, but please don't try to change us, milk's good, period.

I've been drinking cow's milk since i was 3 and I've hardly been sick. Not to mention the rest of my family drinks it, and nothing bad is happening to them. i have a milkshake for breakfast (after cereal, of course) everyday, and i have no allergies, no bad sicknesses, and my dad put everyone on Pro-Activ butter, which is supposed to decrease cholesterol absorption.

your logic is flawed.

Well, cats drink the milk humans give them, but in the wildlife they don't drink cow milk.

Seriously though, I drink milk for the same reason I consume anything. I like it. I also like all kinds of meat, and I don't give a fuck about what anyone says.

My theory about food can be summed up in this: If you enjoy something, then it must be good for you. So, I eat whatever I feel like.

Vegans are healthy? The human body was meant to eat meat and animals. Eating only plants and what not is not healthy for you. You need meat.

Bovine growth hormones present in milk are far more concerning to me than milk itself.  There's a good reason why many European nations don't allow the injection of bovine growth hormones into their cows.  These hormones actually affect the growth stages of our children -- and not in a good way.
