at 00:32 (the video clock is backwards so 32 till end).. guy who's supposed to be a spy character, same smoke effects & cloak as TF2

if anything they've tried to make it as silly as they can so people can't say it's ripped off theme, hasn't worked.

I'm glad you think it looks good. I still think it looks stupid. Cartoon style with none of the charm and none of the character.

They've even included 'taunts', if they can be called such a thing. Arms moving about while making strange noises isn't funny.

The best part of that vid was the peg leg Nazi. Well. Peg leg 'National Army' or whatever the hell it is.

Still, i'm going to try and get the beta of course. Just because I think the trailers look rubbish doesn't mean i'm discounting the game just yet. I just think they're trying hard at humour and failing miserably.

in 2142 the sniper could cloak aswell (also in tf2 the smoke is when disguising, but that isnt really relevant)
and also TF2 wasnt the first game to have a spy like characters or cartoon type graphics

but i suppose GTA4 did copy TF2 as you can clearly shoot in both games, and TF2 came out first
