This just might be a game that I might get from my PS3. But I really hope they at least give the PS3 a demo when release comes closer. I'm not into FPS on consoles, but BF is more than just an FPS. A controller is much better than a keyboard for things like driving/flying - I hope this game has at least helicopters.

Fuck, it must be annoying though knowing that you can't hide behind buildings anymore when a tank or something rolls in. Oh well, that's realism for you.

You should try R6V2 Mek, the controls are well done. After some practice you get over the whole "KB/M > controller" deal... yes it does > controller but you'll find that it isn't much greater.

Yeah I've played CoD4 quite alot on the PS3, it isn't that bad at all. Games like Turok/Timeshift (I played the demo's) give console FPS games a bad name, because they seem to handle like crap. Same for Halo when I played it on Xbox ages ago

Halo is in its own category for FPS for shear number of players. The game has done really well in every aspect of a game that developers wanted.

Yea I found out the hard way. You can't how are they suppose to beta test a game if they don't allow basic features. I consider being able to invite friends a basic feature.

Nobody put the XM8 in CoD4 because the XM8 isn't EVEN CLOSE to being in service yet, and IW wanted to keep out prototype weapons.

Actually the XM8 project was canceled in the Fall of 2006. They choose another revision of the M16 rifle.(M16A4)

I just played 3 good hours of the game. The Laser Designation system is MUCH better than BF:MC. Once you target the object you have to stear the missile to the target! Its has splash damage so don't worry about hitting it directly. Also, the M95 has a higher chance of killing in one shot than the default snipers so you folks who say ".50 should be and instant kill."(ME!) well you always have your wish. I've also played around with some friend in trying to join the same game. We figured out that if we searched for a game at the same time we would get in together. We tested this 4 times tonight and got together all 4 times!

I think i'm going to write some sort of report or something about things in this game. Maybe...
