@Ollie Understand where your coming from, and the fucktard with the numberplate pisses me off also. Howver, Metallica are one of the only bands I've heard that can pull of playing with an orchestra and make it sound fucking awsm.

So many live gigs to choose from (mainly when I was at uni) 3 come to mind

Pink Floyd "A Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour" at Wembley Stadium was pretty awesome
Hawkwind (and The Ozric Tentacles and several others) at Brixton Academy London was a huge psychedelic trip!

but maybe the best was

Nirvana "Nevermind tour" at the Sheffield Octagon (they were filming as well so were putting everything into it)

would have loved to see Metallica but never got the chance... they could have won
