I wonder why when playing Titan mode and yours is destroyed that your own team jump off?

I can understand why we jump off the enemy Titan when its destroyed because of the Pin.

So do you jump off your own destroyed Titan and if you do then why?

On FF off servers I leave a few helpful claymores to rob a few enemies of their Pin, (I usually defend as a Sniper.)
Then I generally jump off and try to see if I can get any last minute kills.

It's quite astonishing how many people do that. Probably the same guys who ask afterwards, whether the pin is bugged since they never get one.

Depending on the situation I try to get another kill or to avoid a last death.

You don't get a death when the Titan explodes unless you're sitting at one of the six guns!

Don't be missleaded about the meaningless kill message in the the upper left corner, everybody is mentioned this way at the end of the game and occasionally you'll see your name there.
