Yeah, me neither, but I'm giving you fair warning that Gibson is going to be going offline this weekend. Why?

I'm going to be running the 16 through memtest to find the one that's been causing recent crashes and get it removed & replaced
I'll be installing a second 150 raptor I bought and hopefully getting them to RAID up without having to reinstall the system
Upgrading the processors from Dual Opteron 246 (2.0ghz) to Dual DualCore Opteron 285 (2.6ghz) !!

So, very excited about the increase in performance and hopefully the reliability and recovery of the machine in future fuck ups er, "failures"

(Once it's done, I plan on running a BF2 Unranked server 24/7 as well as the 24/7 teamspeak for whoever needs it.)

Perhaps since this server seriously seems up to the task, have the teamspeak associated with every division, and generally joking around like the IRC channel. People in Australia and Europe could still use the server just fine couldn't they?

Hopefully it's as simple as installing a driver on the OS system to recognize that RAID is at work. Otherwise, I can reinstall linux and have it back up in about 3-6 hours.
