it has a wonderful caramel aftertaste, genuinely one of the most enjoyable beers to drink, in my opinion

I think the bartender threw in a slice of lemon in the pint too If I'm not mixing it with some other beer.
Microbrews are best, but I tend to stick with anything from Shiner Brewery here in Texas. They make nice eastern European style beers.

i love cheap american beer. having been pretty much all over the world i still like the cheap pisswater. maybe i am just white trash at heart without the trailer park, guns, and mullet.
my favorite beer is sammy adams but I drink waaaay more coors lights than anything else.

Unibroue's Maudite, La Fin du Monde, Trois Pistoles, Dom de Dieu are some of the best beers I've had, and you can find them at most any decent liquor store.
Everyone in K.C. is on Boulevard's dick, but I prefer Schlafly or New Belgium's (Abbey, Trippel and Ranger IPA are great!) stuff if I want a good beer from the midwest. They aren't exactly really small breweries, but I guess they're still microbreweries when compared to Anheuser Busch, etc.
Someone mentioned a chocolate stout...try making a chocolate stout / rasperry beer (Samuel Smith makes one) combo, like you would a black & tan. Some girl made me one and it was like my mouth orgasm'd.
