Well, Magicka was dead easy.
All the achievement guides recommend dumb shit like starting a new save game and spam-slaughtering all the wizards in the level 1 lobby. But there's a much easier, faster and more fun way:
Spoiler (highlight to read):
1. Optional: put on a tanking robe (like the space robe)
2. Load a challenge map (like the glade).
3. Try to group the enemies up, then apply the following:
qqqqq right mouse - low pressure soaking in specified sweep
rrrrr right mouse - quick freeze in specified sweep
rssss shift+right mouse - wide-radius nova that deals basic cold damage, enough to immediately kill small mobs and good enough to keep bosses like trolls chain-frozen.
For groups like the grenadier goblins, you can get away with one icesplosion, but mop up the rest of those pineapple-throwing buggers from range if you don't want to die and reload the map (space robe pistol is great for them).
^should be able to get 100 ice shatterings without reloading the map at all.
